We are celebrating World Book Day on Friday 8th March. Please come dressed as your favourite book character. All of the teachers will visit a different class to share a favourite children’s book, and every child will receive a World Book Day voucher.
Well done to all of our fantastic choir members – and a massive thank you to the staff and volunteers who helped to make our Young Voices trip such a success!
We will be taking a short break from practising to give everyone a chance to recover so there will be no more choir sessions now until after the half term break, but we look forward to seeing (and hearing!) you all after the holiday.
Maths We will begin looking at multiplying numbers by 4,8,7,9, through practical equipment, pictorial representations and problem-solving activities. Children to continue using TT Rockstars at home to help boost times table recall. English We will be visiting the BFG exhibition…
The lunchtime staff had noticed a lot of waste when Battered Fish was on the menu so we have carried out a little survey in school over the last few weeks and decided to change the menu slightly. The change only affects Week one. on Friday the option will be MSC Salmon or White Fish fingers not MSC Battered fish.
Two more slight changes – we will be serving rice, not noodles, on Thursday of week one and Pasta Bolognese in place of Spaghetti Bolognese on Thursday of week three. Please see the menu below – click the image to download a larger .pdf version.
