Iâve had such a pawsome time walking with you along the river this week! The leaves are crunchy, the air smells amazing, and there are so many exciting things to see (and sniff!).
I love it when we walk together â you talk to me, walk so nicely, and youâre brilliant at being calm and kind.
Remember, a little walk and some fresh air can make you feel wag-tastic inside! Big wags,Bodhi
Bodhi has enjoyed having some company on his lunchtime walks and is looking forward to the arrival of a double handled lead so that the children can have a go at holding him alongside me (if they want to!) It is also a great chance for me to have a good chat with a few children at a time and to find out about what they have been getting up to.
He has also been working alongside two small groups of children on the field and amazing us all with his skills. The places where the children are hiding the ball for him to find are getting harder and harder but, with their help, he is doing brilliantly!
Bodhi had his second PAWs visit on Thursday and he did brilliantly. Rachel could see how happy and comfortable he was in school and gave us some top tips to help with his barking, although it has already got so much better!
It is such a privilege to be taught by someone who is such an expert in their field and Lisa, Dani and I are learning so much! She taught us a scent game that he loved and which he will be able to play with children.
Another good week in the life of a school dog! Bodhi has has fun playing âFind Itâ with small groups of children on the school field. He has also had some more company on his lunchtime walks by the river. We will be starting to timetable this more formally in the coming weeks so the children know when their turn is coming with Bodhi is coming. We will still be very mindful of how young is he though and will make sure that we arenât expecting too much of him. He is still a dog who loves (and needs) his sleep!
