November 15, 2021

Please see below for flyers for “Time Out For Parents” courses available from Family Matters. You can also find out more on their website.

If you have a child with additional needs it is so helpful to meet with others in the same situation and share experiences and ideas. This course is an opportunity to do just that, as well as working through some useful material which helps us to think what we are doing with our children and if we want to make any changes. The next course starts this week: When: Thursday mornings 9.30 to 11.30am for 6 weeks starting 4th November Where: Hob Moor Children's Centre, Green Lane, Acomb, York YO24 4RF To book a place or for further information please contact: Helen Atkinson on 07393 147259 email helenatkinson@fmy.org.uk or you can find more information about our courses on our website https://fmy.org.uk/parenting/
It isn't easy being a teenager or the parent of a teenager, especially with all that we have been through over the last year and a half. This 5 session course gives parents the opportunity to share their experiences with other parents and find out they aren't the only ones, as well as working through some course material helping us to think about what is going on at home and whether or not we would like to do things differently. When: Wednesday mornings 9.30 to 11.30am for 5 weeks starting 10th November Where: Cornerstone at St. Georges, Millfield Lane, Osbaldwick YO10 3AL. To book a place or for further information please contact: Helen Atkinson on 07393 147259 email helenatkinson@fmy.org.uk or you can find more information about our courses on our website https://fmy.org.uk/parenting/
