We saw a huge change in weather after all the recent sunshine we have had. The rain didn’t stop the children in Early Years having fun though. They went on a puddle hunt to try and find the biggest puddles to jump in. The children decided to make cars out of crates and worked together, pulling each other around an obstacle course they made.

The children love taking their learning outside, whatever the weather! Look at all these happy, confident and engaged children directing their own learning. The forest helps us learn so much about the world and our local environment!

We had an amazing time at Harlow Carr last week. We were kept so busy all day. We explored the grounds and had fun playing in the park.
Then we visited the herb garden and used our senses to explore the different herbs they had. We bashed up the herbs to make special potions!
We also made some lovely crowns and used leaves and twigs for our jewels! Thank you for having us Harlow Carr!
