On Monday 9th June, Key Stage 1 had a visit from local author Bat Oren.  Bat read her new book ‘The Good Deed Balloon’ and talked to the children about any good deeds they had done recently.  The book tells the story of a group of animals who try to secure a place on the good deed balloon by explaining what good deed they had done.

 

The children had to decide who was most deserving of a place on the balloon and they guessed right!  It was lovely to hear a story being read by  the author and she even gave each class their own copy to enjoy again and again.  Thank you Bat Oren!
