Extra Curricular Activities

Fishergate pupils are very fortunate in having access to such a range of extra-curricular activities; we are proud of the way their skills develop through these additional opportunities.  We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school and would not want any child to miss out on a club because of financial difficulty. If you qualify for free school meals, we may be able to help you with payment for clubs – please pop in and see Mrs Clarke.

Autumn Term Club List – coming soon!

The letter regarding the clubs on offer is sent home in book bags each term. We ask that you go through the list with your child and select three clubs that they would like to attend. In the boxes down the right hand side, place your options using 1, 2 and 3. Some clubs are not open to everyone and are marked with an X. Please do not choose these.

Please return your selection to the class teacher (not the office, please) and we will then allocate places.  Please remember to write your child’s name and class on the form. If after allocating pupils any clubs have spare places, these can then be booked through the school office. If you are selecting a club that is a paid activity, payment should be made at the first session and consent forms completed.

At the end of a club the adult leading the club will accompany children to the Y3/4 doors for collection by parents/carers.  Please also remember that clubs occasionally have to be cancelled at short notice. When this happens, you will need to collect at 3.15, as normal.
