Job Details

Fishergate School is looking to appoint an Administrative Officer to work as part of a small friendly office team. The successful candidate will be an experienced administrative officer and ideally will have worked in schools or the wider education sector. They will thrive when working to tight timescales, display a talent for negotiating diplomatically, have excellent personal organisational skills and will be a strong team player.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy office environment and must be sympathetic to the School’s ethos and ways of working. He/she will be highly competent in using Microsoft Office software, particularly Word and Excel; and also Google software. It is essential that prospective candidates can demonstrate an appreciation for accurate working, taking personal responsibility to achieve and deliver the best service possible at all times.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and committed cleaner to join our premises team who provide a good quality cleaning service that is responsive to the needs of the school.  Resulting in a clean and healthy environment for pupils, staff and visitors. Fishergate Primary School is part of the City Of York Council and this position attracts all the benefits, and support associated with a council position.
