School Writing Competition

The school council have launched a Key Stage 1 and 2 writing competition. Here is the information you need if you want to enter: 

  1. Write a story of your own 
  2. You can type or write your story
  3. It can be about anything you choose
  4. It needs to be interesting, creative and original

RULES:

¨ It must be written by you!

¨ In order for judging to be fair please don’t put your name on it: when you hand it into your class teacher they will give you a number to put on it

¨ CLOSING DATE IS FRIDAY  27th APRIL

 

WORD LIMITS:

YEARS 1 and 2: up to a maximum of 200 words (you can write less than this)

YEARS 3 and 4: up to a maximum of 500 words (you can write less than this)

YEARS 5 and 6: up to a maximum of  1000 words (you can write less than this)

 

ENTRIES TO BE JUDGED BY THE SCHOOL COUNCIL WITH A SHORTLIST GOING TO MISS REES TO CHOOSE THE WINNERS– PRIZES TO BE WON!!!!

This is a voluntary competition- it is up to you if you want to write a story. Good luck to all those that enter.
