On Literacy Enrichment day, all the children in school work in mixed age groups.  They go around a 'carousel' of activities inspired by a book and led by our talented teachers and splendid support staff!  This year the activities included everything from creating a book of mix-and-match 'baddies' in Mr Carr's workshop, 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly', to dynamic doodling with Mrs Pitts!

Mrs Pickering and Miss Chandler shared a wonderful book called 'Blodin the Beast', by Michael Morpurgo with their groups. It tells the story of a boy who goes on an amazing adventure, with a very special carpet that he can use as a map. The children used a new piece of software, called Revelation Natural Art, to create their own magical carpet maps. We think that they look amazing!
